Mindful Movement Workshop

Movement is essential to life and it is important that we develop the ability to move as freely as possible even when we are living with pain and discomfort. We can develop unhelpful habits to avoid pain and suffering which further lead to tension and stiffness.
In this workshop Georgina Ramos of Move Free and Jane Mitchell of mindbodyfeeling will combine movement and mindfulness meditation to increase awareness of the mind and body to support living and moving well.
Jane will offer mindfulness practices that encourage us to bring a more gentle curiosity to our mind and body, allowing us to find our natural flow and balance.
George will introduce movements inspired by Pilates and Yoga to offer a greater understanding of biomechanics (the science of human motion) and show you how slowing down can improve your conscious awareness therefore helping you to move well.
